Refund Policy

1. General Policy
Vaime sells digital services and software subscriptions through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly covered below, all payments for subscriptions, credits, and one-time purchases are final and non-refundable.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you are buying access to a digital service and that you forfeit your statutory right of withdrawal if you expressly consent to immediate performance or if the service has already started. This Policy is in addition to, and does not limit, any mandatory consumer rights that may apply to you under local law.
2. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
Depending on your location, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service contract and receive a full refund within the period described below. These rights apply only where not validly waived at checkout or where the service has not yet been substantially performed.
European Union / EEA / Switzerland / United Kingdom / Turkey / Israel: 14 calendar days from the date of the transaction. This applies to the first payment of a subscription and to one-off purchases.
South Korea / Brazil / China / Canada: 7 calendar days from the date of the transaction.
Singapore: 5 calendar days from the date of the transaction or first access, whichever is earlier.
Where local consumer law grants you additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of protection will apply.
3. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted through Paddle, who acts as the authorized reseller and payment processor for Vaime. You can request a refund by using the “Manage subscription” or “View receipt” link in your Paddle transaction email, or by visiting Paddle’s support site at paddle.net and selecting the refund option.
Alternatively, you may contact us directly at billing@vaime.io and we will forward your request to Paddle or guide you through the correct process.
4. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method used for the transaction. Refunds are typically issued within 14 days of approval, although the exact timing may depend on your bank or payment provider.
If you receive a refund, your access to the relevant paid features, subscription, or unused credits will be reduced or terminated in proportion to the refunded amount.
5. Subscription Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Paddle account or by using the link in your receipt email. Cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of that period.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund of fees already paid unless you are within a statutory withdrawal period or an approved discretionary refund window.
6. Refunds for Technical or Product Defects
If you experience persistent technical issues or a material defect that prevents you from accessing the features you paid for, please contact us at billing@vaime.io before requesting a refund. We will work with you to resolve the issue.
If the issue cannot be resolved and a material defect is confirmed, Paddle will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws and this Policy.
7. Discretionary Refunds
Vaime may, at its sole discretion, approve refund requests submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Submission within this period does not guarantee approval. Each request is reviewed individually based on the nature of the product, usage, and reason for the request.
Any discretionary refund is voluntary and does not create an obligation to provide refunds in the future.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact Paddle or Vaime support before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue may result in temporary suspension of access to the Service pending review.
Chargebacks filed for transactions that were properly authorized and delivered may result in account termination and recovery of any associated fees.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your transaction governs that transaction. We recommend saving or printing a copy for your records.
